Earlier this week our team and their families got together at our site to celebrate the end of the 2023-2024 Harvest. It’s been a big season, with some good weather and a great bunch of people so it was great to get everyone together to thank and appreciate the team’s efforts!
Also a big thanks to Rob and the team from Beard Brothers – the sausages and patties went down a treat!

Last month ลmahu Marae hosted a Matariki celebration weekend for the first time.
Following a day of festivities, the evening concluded with the hapลซ Matariki Huia awards, which aimed to celebrate the achievements and recognition of individual whฤnau members. It was a very special occasion providing an opportunity for everyone to unwind and enjoy themselves. Reflecting on the significant journey and the personal impact of whฤnau, with a special tribute to each recipient for their ongoing manaaki (hospitality and giving) to their community and environment.
We were gifted with a beautiful huia feather style taonga symbolising leadership, mana and sustainable practices.
